Move To Detroit Strengthens Client Relationships

In November 2013, Dalton & Tomich relocated from Bloomfield Hills to our new offices in downtown Detroit, located in the historic Chrysler House (formerly the Dime Building) near Campus Martius. The beautifully renovated building provides an elegant yet modern place for our team to conduct business, meet new colleagues and clients, and strengthen our existing client relationships.

One of the many advantages of moving to Detroit has been our increased proximity to many cutting-edge, Detroit-based businesses we are fortunate to represent. One of our technology-driven clients in Detroit is Digerati, Inc., whose offices are headquartered in the Guardian Building downtown. Founded in 2001, Digerati is a computer software and consulting company specializing in business process improvement and custom software development and implementation. Through a unique process developed from engineering principles, the Digerati team observes and analyzes an organization’s current operations and develops process improvements, new products, and customized software specifically designed to meet their needs. We have been able to guide and advise Digerati and its leadership through transactions, leases, and other day-to-day business activities. We are pleased to continue our relationship with Digerati.

Another of our valued Detroit-based clients is Skidmore Studio. Located in downtown’s M@dison Building, Skidmore is a creative powerhouse that handles design and marketing for a wide range of industries and clientele. Skidmore relocated from Oakland County to Detroit in 2011 and has grown exponentially.  Our team provides general counsel to the company and is proud to continue this relationship and assist Skidmore in remaining one of Detroit’s premier design studios.

Dalton & Tomich is also proud to represent LogoBar, LLC. LogoBar is a unique innovative concept in digital advertising, offering advertisers a new channel to market that does not diminish the user experience in viewing streamed video over several different venues. As a new technology start-up, LogoBar has a promising future in store of which we are excited to be a part. We have been able to guide and advise LogoBar through many of its start-up transactions and look forward to a continued relationship in the future.

Dalton & Tomich provides legal services to many growing Detroit-centric companies in early and second stages of their business.  The firm counsels companies as they navigate through the stages of growth.  We advise clients on business planning, prepare and review contracts, draft debt and equity financing agreements, assist in closing funding rounds, provide employment counseling and assist with navigating through shareholder disputes.
