Dan Dalton Awarded Pro Bono Service Award

Huge congratulations are in order for Dalton & Tomich founding partner, Dan Dalton! On July 5, Dan was awarded with a Silver Service Award by the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) at the ADF Academy session in Laguna Niguel, California. The ADF is an alliance-building legal ministry that advocates for the right of people to freely live out their faith. As an ADF Allied Attorney, Dan has worked tirelessly over the last ten years to defend the rights of religious institutions across the country. The Silver Service Award recognizes Dan for completing more than 5,000 hours of pro bono legal services to religious organizations in need.

Over the last decade, Dan has successfully litigated a variety of cases on behalf of religious institutions nationwide. Some of Dan’s achievements with the ADF include defending a San Diego Catholic school’s right to develop its property, protecting a Christian ministry’s ability to provide shelter, religious training and counseling services to recovering addicts in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and assisting an Anglican church in Jacksonville Beach, Florida in overcoming city opposition to build its dream church.

Congratulations on this well-deserved honor, Dan!
