Detroit—September 15, 2020—Detroit-based land use, business, and denominational trust law firm Dalton & Tomichwill present a live, interactive webinar on Zoning and Land Laws for Civil Engineers and Professional Surveyorson Thursday, September 24.  The all-day session, which runs from 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. with an hour break for lunch, headlines five of the firm’s real estate, land use and zoning attorneys: Daniel P. Participants will learn how governments regulate land use using comprehensive planning and zoning; how easements are created, used, and terminated; how to identify basic principles of boundary law and evaluate boundary evidence; understand adverse possession and discuss how to defend against adverse possession claims; and review rules for determining land boundaries at the water line and determine access rights to surface waters.
