On October 26, 2019, Noel Sterett was honored to speak about his work and the fight for religious liberty in America at an Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) event in Chicago. The event, which was part of ADF’s Ambassador program, drew a large room full of concerned citizens interested in hearing about our efforts to defend religious liberty in cases in Illinois and across the country. While there were many attorneys in attendance, there were many more non-lawyers who were there to hear how they could use their unique talents to help preserve religious liberty and help support the religious liberty work we do.
ADF Vice President Ryan Johnson reminded us all of the words of President Ronald Reagan, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”
Noel wishes to thank his friends at ADF for the opportunity to share his calling with such an esteemed group. He left more encouraged than ever knowing that there are still so many who are willing to fight to preserve religious freedom for generations to come.
